Rules & Regulations

1. General

a) DECATHLON Coalfields Retail Park 5KM Fun Run 2026 is organised by Decathlon Malaysia.

b) By completing the official entry form and submitting payment via TIXLAH, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

c) Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email.

d) Age qualification is taken as in year of birth.

e) Participants shall agree to participate this Event at his/her own free will.

2. Registration

a) Participants must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.

b) Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in disqualification without a refund.

c) Participants agree to receive event communications via email or phone from the organizer.

d) Upon confirmation of participation, change of category or other details will not be entertained. 

e) Once the participant's registration has been duly processed, there will be NO REFUND for participants who do not eventually take part in the Event for whatsoever reason. 

3. Safety & Health

a) Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and healthy to participate.

b) The organizer will not be liable for any injury, illness, or death arising during or after participation.

c) It is strongly recommended that participants consult a medical professional before the event.

4. Event Changes & Cancellation

a) The organizer reserves the right to:

• Postpone, cancel, or modify the event without prior notice due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

• Delay the start of the race in the event of adverse weather. Persistent bad weather may lead to cancellation without refunds.

b) No refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes, including schedule adjustments.

5. Media & Publicity

a) By participating, participants consent to the use of their images, video recordings, and event-related media for promotional purposes without compensation.

6. Event Conduct & Safety

a) The organizer reserves the right to:

• Remove any participant deemed unfit to continue.

• Disqualify participants for unsportsmanlike behavior or failure to follow instructions.

b) Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of children participating.

7. Liability & Indemnity

a) Participants acknowledge the risks involved and participate at their own risk.

b) The organizer, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expenses arising before, during, or after the event.

8. Amendments

a) The organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
